Labuerda, a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees, is abandoned in winter. During the summer, descendants of original residents spend their holidays in the village and move among the few left residentials, resulting in a social injection.
On the edge of the village, on a corner lot, a small barn served as a storage place for hay and as a stable for animals. The owner wants to make a holiday home out of it. The original solid stone structure is retained and a structure of mass timber panels is mounted within the existing volume.
